In the Democrats’ ongoing quest to make President Trump pay for being a better candidate than Hillary Clinton, left-wing members of the House have filed a lawsuit against former White House counsel Donald McGahn. The Democrats intend to compel McGahn into testifying against his old boss. Their hope is that McGahn’s testimony will indict President Trump enough for them to garner enough support to impeach him. The House Democrats desperately need a win after the colossal failure of the Mueller hearing.
ABC News has the story:

A true testament to the government’s inability to create and run a successful program, ‘Common Core’ has been a thorn in the side of teachers, parents, and students for too long. Common Core education forces teachers and students to meet certain arbitrary, government-set standards before passing each grade. In theory, children should be at a certain level of comprehension for reading and math before passing a grade. However, that comprehension level is better tested over time with multitudes of normal tests, rather than one big standardized test at the end of the ...
Bill Doyle was doing some chores and listening to Laura Ingraham on the radio when he heard about the Tea Party in 2009. An aerospace executive, Doyle spent his life working all around the globe, something he says gives him perspective: “that perspective informs me, without question, that this country is truly the ‘...the last best hope for mankind.’” That helped inform his decision when, after moving to Maui, he saw an ad in the Maui News about a tea party protest on Tax Day. After some prodding from his wife, Marty, the two joined the protest and became heavily ...
Both chambers passed a measure that would add $320 billion to our national debt and would suspend the $22 trillion national debt ceiling. Not only are conservative lawmakers in Congress outraged, but a majority of Americans are as well. A recent poll revealed 56 percent of respondents agreed that “cutting government spending is better for the long-term health of the economy.” Only 21 percent said increasing spending would be better.
The Epoch Times has the details:
A bigger majority, 59 percent, said the U.S. economy would benefit from “cutting budget deficit...

Once again, Democrats are trying to revive talks on impeaching President Trump. After the Mueller testimony a few weeks ago ended up being predictably anti-climactic, the Democrats remain unsatisfied with the results. Democrats are doing what they do best: despising President Trump and spending time and resources to find any reason to get him out of the White House.
The Hill report:
Democrats have steadily emerged to back an impeachment inquiry since former special counsel Robert Mueller testified before Congress last month on Russia’s 2016 election interference and ...

Yesterday, the Senate passed H.R. 3877, a bill that would add $326 billion to our already-soaring debt. We have a spending problem in this country and all conservatives should be outraged that both chambers are unwilling to take our spending problem seriously.
All this measure does is postpone the inevitable because, eventually, someone must pay the tab. This does not lead to the debt-free future Americans want!
Paying off debt is scary and paying off $22 trillion is scarier, but we understand the laws of economics. When the economy is in recession, deficit spending ...
Tax reform is just as important now as it was during the battle to pass Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. While we reap the benefits of the tax cuts, we must maintain vigilance to ensure the Democrats don’t try to raise them again. The best way is to educate those who don’t realize they actually are keeping more of their money.
Here's who’s winning:
Winning: Most US taxpayers
The vast majority of American tax filers — more than 65% — will see their overall tax burden decrease by at least $100, according to the congressional Joint Committee on Taxation. See ...
