Donald Trump’s Chances for 2020 Reelection Are Looking Pretty Good

Despite what the liberal media hopes and predicts, President Trump may have a better chance of staying in the White House for another four years. The radical shift in the Democratic Party may be the nail in the coffin for the party’s ambition of taking back the White House in 2020. National Review has the details: People, not polls, elect presidents. Presidents run for reelection against real opponents, not public perceptions. For all the media hype, voters often pick the lesser of two evils, not their ideals of a perfect candidate. We have no idea what the ...

America’s Border Wall vs. The Berlin Wall: An East German Escapee’s Perspective

Would a wall along America’s southern border be the moral equivalent of the infamous Berlin Wall? Of course not. The Berlin Wall was built to keep people in; a wall along our southern border would be built to keep people out. In any consideration of the use of force – and constructing a wall is a kind of force – we must examine the moral element. To suggest otherwise is to suggest that the hero who pushes the little old lady out of the way of the oncoming bus is no better than the evil man who pushes her into the way of the oncoming bus, because both men like to ...

Deranged Dems: Ocasio-Cortez is predicting the “end of the world”

Freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants Americans to support her Green New Deal – or else. “Millennials and people, you know, Gen Z and all these folks that come after us, are looking up, and we’re like: ‘The world is gonna end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change, and your biggest issue is how are we gonna pay for it?'” Ocasio-Cortez said at a Martin Luther King Day event. Conservative Review has the story: Ocasio-Cortez is referring to a United Nations study that exacerbated climate hysteria last October by declaring the world has just 12 ...

Which President Made a Shutdown Difficult for Everyone? Hint: It Wasn’t Trump

President Trump partially shut down the government because Democrats failed to compromise with him on a solution to a major immigration problem. Quite the opposite was done during the Obama Administration’s 2013 shutdown when the response was "make it as painful as possible." The Daily Caller has the story: Vought joined the OMB in early 2018 and assumed the role of acting director ...

Jenny Beth’s Journal: Yes, Illegal Immigration is a Humanitarian Crisis

Democratic lawmakers refuse to look at the facts: illegal immigration in our country is out of control. About 85 percent of the migrants that have crossed over our borders in the past three months came over illegally. About 90 percent of the heroin coming into this country comes from the southern border. Americans are responsible for paying over $70,000 per illegal immigrant and that number keeps going up. When will members of Congress take this issue seriously? The Daily Caller has Jenny Beth's commentary: Illegal immigration is destructive to the American commun...

Another Push for Draconian Gun Control

Now that Democrats have control of the House, they have begun pushing their gun control agenda. Their latest push has been to regulate private sales and transfers with universal background checks. Already law in a few states like Washington, universal background checks would require gun owners to go through a licensed dealer in order to buy, sell or transfer a firearm. Such laws are unenforceable and place a burden on law enforcement as well as lawful gun owners. Not to mention, such a law would not be enforceable without a gun registry. Breitbart has the story: ...
